This project was done for Waturbine. The components were manufactured by the coop.
Project Summary
Completed for the University of Waterloo wind turbine design team, Waturbine, this project was designed using SOLIDWORKS.
I conducted several engineering calculations using MODS and material science to ensure that these stopping devices would not fail under the weight of the nacelle. Developed numerous design ideas and iterations accomodating the changes from other subteams.
Delegated tasks effectively to get parts ordered, machined and fit-tested within given time restraints from the subteam lead.
