Project Summary

I used SOLIDWORKS for the entire design, and the gas flow was also simulated with SOLIDWORKS Simulations. All drawings and purchase requisitions were organized depending on which parts were outsourced or to be made in house. While ordering and fabricating the simpler, joint rods, rubber seal and plastic hinge.

Overall, I developed my design, project management and my R&D skills

The chamber consistently delivered higher-quality welds than previous experiments. This was proven through a series of structured experiments to get quanitfiable, accurate data that was compared to previous tests.
